A 1/4 plate ambrotype of an early war unidentified Confederate Artilleryman and Officer. The image came
out of the Louisville Kentucky area. The officer has on a dark colored frock coat with eight gilted buttons
and federal pattern shoulder rank insignia as seen with a number of early war Kentucky officers. However, he
has a light gray kepi on his lap similar to the other soldier. The Artilleryman has a kepi with a slightly
red tinted band and crossed cannons that have been gilted. His uniform is a light gray frock with single
breast pocket flap. The image comes with a very early mat and partial leatherette case that needs to be
replaced. There is no Id on the image or case. The resolution is sharp but image has been broken thus the price. #CA1028=$475.00
