This soldier stands at parade rest with his musket & bayonet. There is a wooden nipple/plug in the barrel of the musket. He wears a 4 button
sack coat, a cross belt with eagle plate and a belt & US buckle. He also wears a kepi or a forage cap (can't quite tell which one it is). The
backdrop is a tent wall. This is a 1/6 plate tintype. It is better than the scan. There is a slight bend in the plate that precluded me from
getting a good scan. The image has a 3 green cent telegraph tax stamp on the back and come in a full case that has seen better days. #6955=$310.00
