1/6 Plate tintype of a private with his musket cocked and ready to go. This soldier wears a kepi, shell jacket with cloth shoulder tabs and tinted blue trousers. The
belt plate appears to be an SNY belt plate, but I can't tell 100% for sure. There is a bayonet scabbard on his hip with no bayonet in it. Is it on his musket and
slightly out of the photograph? Interestingly, he doesn't wrap his fingers around the stock of the musket, rather he has them folded underneath. I assume he has
fingers, but could they possibly be amputated? The image comes in a full case with what appears to be the original binding. #9726=$485.00
