or it may be alcohol. I don't think there is any way to tell for sure. the image is stable, well focused and in excellent condition with one flaw right by the subject's ear.
This comes with a full case that is split at the seam, but easily repaired. There is an I.D. in the back of the case with a small lock of brown hair. the I.D. is Henry Sherman Bales.
