This 1/6 plate tintype has some of the best content ever, but it is quite dark. The image shows a soldier standing outside of his camp wearing a frock
coat with a belt and NCO belt plate, a Officer Of the Day red tinted sash and a kepi. He cradels his foot officer's sword across his waist. You can see a
large tent and many trees in the background. As previously stated the image is very dark. The image shown on the landing page is a scan with no adjustments.
When you drill down, you can see an image that I lightened slightly, but not much. The specks on the scan are dust. I married the image to a mat and a 1/2 case
that is beautiful. This is a crazy valuable image if it weren't so dark. DARN! #4904=$265.00
