This is image is a 1/9 plate ambrotype that has been blackened on the back. The image is bright and crisp. The imulsion is solid and stable, but some of the
black backing shows through as seen in the scan. This is a great image, in that, you can see his knapsack or cartridge pouch. There is a slight pink tinting
on his cheeks. The image comes in a full case that has been repaired at the spine. The photos from my blackberry of the case are not nearly as good as from
my scanner. The first image of the soldier from the scanner is an accurate representation. You know that I always accept returns if not satisfied for a couple
