1/9 plate tintype of a very young soldier wearing a 6 buttons jacket with metal disk buttons. The image is very clear to the point that you can see the weave in the wool
jacket and trousers. The young soldier busts out a Napoleonic pose for this photographer. I'd guess this soldier might be 9 or 10 years old. There is flaking on the
