The solder in this CDV sized tintype stands at attention for his photograph. He wears a 9 button frock coat and forage cap with a hunting horn on the crown. He has a veteran's stripe on his sleeves too. The image comes in a CDV sized thermoplastic case that is Berg's 3-52 and is considered scarce. The image with keeper, mat and glass fits very tight into the case. I've purposely not pushed it all of the way in because I was afraid I'd never get it out. I think a little work to grind the glass down a bit would allow it to fit into the case very well. The case is in good condition with a chip and crack at the clasp. There is no I.D. #11829=$350.00
