This 1/6 plate daguerreotype features a young boy with a ball in his hands. He sits in a comb back chair, wears
wool pants and a pleated shirt with white ruffles around the collar and cuffs. You can see the photographer's white
sheet backdrop behind the subject and a gap where it meets the floor. This image has been resealed and suffers from
minor swipes as can be seen in the scan. The image is crisp and bright with a nice element of the toy ball. The image
